The Chicago Tribune ran a travel feature on Vancouver as a place to come for wellness and good food. Minami, Miku, Loden Hotel, and Formation Studio were all named. A US paper with that reach and that history carries a weight you simply do not get from local press.
Getting into a US paper requires a story that travels. It cannot be about a new menu item. It has to be about why someone in Illinois should get on a plane. I built the pitch around the wellness angle, with the dining as the emotional reward at the end of the trip. That is the story the Chicago Tribune ran.
Seeing four of my clients in the same feature, in a paper that has been publishing since 1847, was one of those mornings where the work speaks for itself.
None of the outlets above ran these stories off a press release. They ran them because the stories were worth telling, and because I had spent years building the kind of relationship where my call gets answered.
A Forbes placement or a Chicago Tribune travel feature does not happen from a single pitch. It happens from knowing the right editor at the right moment with the right story. That is what fifteen years of PR built on real relationships looks like.
